Cosmetic Surgery
Dr. Rosenberg on Diane's Cosmetic Surgery: "First, we performed some liposuction on her legs. When you distend the tissues with the solution, this helps decrease bruising and bleeding, which helps give us a better result. Then, using a very small canula, we can remove fat. With liposuction, you remove a small amount of fat at a time...it's more like painting with a very small, fine brush, so it gives you very nice control over the amount you remove and where you remove it.

"From there, we moved to the abdomenalplasty. We removed probably about 10 to 15 inches of excess skin off her abdomen. The belly button stays where it is, but we lift the skin around the belly button, pulling the skin down tight like a drum. That gets rid of the excess skin, and gives you a nice, tight, flat, abdomen. With the tummy tuck, we also address the muscle as well. So, we tighten up the muscle, remove some fat, and we remove some skin as well – you address all three problems.

"From there, we moved on to the breast lift. Again, it's mainly a repositioning of the breast tissue. She didn't want to be any larger, but at the same time she didn't want to be any smaller. She wanted to maintain her size, so we didn't add an implant, and we did not reduce breast tissue."

Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Myron Kellner on Diane's Teeth: "Diane had several teeth that were overlapped and she was concerned about the color of her teeth, their alignment, and also their shape."

Dr. Kellner slightly realigned the teeth and he changed the color to give them a lighter look and help her build confidence in her smile.

Porcelain veneers placed on her teeth allowed him to make all those changes, and all the changes happened in only a matter of days.

Diane now has full confidence in her smile. In a thank you card to Dr. Kellner, she wrote, "My teeth are amazing! I definitely smile more, and I am finally getting used to showing my teeth when I smile!" This part of Diane's Dramatic Makeover was truly a life-changing experience.
